Nestled in the peaceful, unspoilt village of Cunjurong Point, just across the road from Manyana Beach, Yungaburra is a beautifully refreshed 1970s beach house that captures the nostalgia of a classic Australian coastal holiday, a time when life moved a little slower.
Tucked away in a quiet cul-de-sac, surrounded by tropical gardens, native wildlife and the sound of crashing waves, this spacious retreat combines original 70s character with modern comforts. A place to slow down, unwind and reconnect with family and friends.
The Space:
Spread across two levels, Yungaburra offers plenty of room to come together or find your own quiet space.
A sunlit home with four generous bedrooms, including three queen rooms and a large bunk room with a sofa, the home is ideal for families, friends and groups. There is a downstairs bathroom, separate upstairs shower and toilet, and full laundry.
Enjoy a well-appointed kitchen, open living and dining areas, a cosy breakfast nook, sunroom and separate bungalow games room.
Relax with morning coffee on the covered upstairs veranda, enjoy long lunches on the downstairs terrace or unwind in one of the many outdoor entertaining areas. The large enclosed yard and ample off-street parking add to the ease of coastal living.
Just across the road, a walking track leads directly to beautiful Manyana Beach. Spend your days swimming, surfing, exploring nearby Green Island and Lake Conjola, or simply doing nothing at all.
The Location
Just 50 m away, a direct track leads to Manyana Beach and Green Island. The Deli Cafe is a 3-minute walk for your morning coffee, and Bendalong, Berringer Lake and Lake Conjola are close by. Bendalong has a general store and cafe and during school holidays they also have woodfire pizza on the weekends.
Milton is a beautiful village of boutique shops and cafes and is only a 25 minutes’ drive away.
Pet Policy:
While we allow pets inside we ask they stay out of the carpeted bedrooms and sleep outside or in the laundry. The yard is fully enclosed for your furry friends to enjoy.
Good to know:
No smoking inside. No parties, events, bucks or hen’s nights. The fireplace is not in use. Wi-Fi details are on the fridge.
Yungaburra is a reminder of the beach holidays we grew up with — simple pleasures, slower days and time spent together.
